Qualified with a Bachelor of Mining Engineer and over 30 years’ experience, Mr Cernotta comes with a solid operational background and experience in both the public and private sectors of the mineral resources industry. Prior to joining Fortescue Metals Group in March 2014 as an Executive Manager and being responsible for delivering safe operational production, in a declining commodity market, Nick Cernotta was the Chief Operating Officer for MacMahon Contracting with responsibility for all domestic Underground Contracting and all Offshore International Surface Mining contracts. Nick’s role with MacMahon, preceded a fruitful and challenging career as Director of Operations for the Barrick Gold - Australia Pacific Regional Business Unit, which involved a period of rapid organic growth, acquisition of peer competitive public entities, new business development ventures and the delivery of record profitability. Nick has operated his own private business venture, has consulted to the mining industry and has held senior executive roles in mining operations and in mine service contracting. His accountabilities included but were not limited to Health, Safety, Environment management and governance, Asset Management, Engineering, Business Development and Business Improvement and Mining Technical Services.

Brett is the Founder of ServTech Global, who’s proprietary SaaS Platform has transformed its wholly owned subsidiary ‘Sell Lease Property’ into the Number 1 Real Estate Agency for Listings Sold in WA 2015/16 (REIWA Awards) and has recently been awarded Australia's 8th fastest growing company (BRW Fast 100 2016). Brett is a leading practitioner in the design and implementation of technology and service platforms with key strengths in process / system design and implementation helping businesses to become efficient whilst improving their core business focus. With a strong operational background Brett has extensive hands-on experience building high performing management teams including the implementation of initiatives that drive a continuous improvement culture. Brett has previously held senior operational and improvement roles with Rio Tinto.

He is the principal of Bellanhouse Legal which predominantly advises on equity capital markets, re-compliance transactions and takeovers across a variety of industries. Bryn has extensive international legal experience and has advised on numerous cross border transactions working in the United Kingdom, Middle East and North America. Bryn is also a non-executive director of Attila Resources Limited (ASX: AYA) and Cre8tek Limited (ASX: CR8).

Mr Newman has over 30 years’ experience in financial services across strategic planning, positioning and implementation with a successful track record in managing and guiding organisations through major and challenging transformations. He is an experienced executive across all areas of business including financial management, strategic planning, business development, risk management and compliance and sales and marketing and is recognised for his leadership and strategic insights. He is currently Executive Director and Head of Business Solutions for Sentry Group, a national and respected non-aligned financial planning Licensee with over 240 Authorised Representatives. David has had an active role in the not-for-profit sector having previously been Chairman of The Leukaemia Foundation and long serving Chairman of the Community Development Foundation. David holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and has undertaken Advanced and Executive Management Programs at the Melbourne Business School. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a fellow of The Institute of Company Directors.
